Nazi meetings are being organised by Project Libertas to happen in Stroud on April 19th and 20th. This is not satire, this is a nightmare reality. Two meetings attacking Jews are being held in Stroud. It is shocking and unacceptable.
One meeting celebrates Hitler’s birthday, but if that isn’t bold enough, the other meeting will promote the Protocols Of the Elders of Zion – a fraudulent document from 1903 used by the Nazis and still being used today to incite antisemitism.
This open letter has been created by Community Solidarity Stroud District, the Radical Youth Space for Educations, Stroud Against Racism, and Stroud District Together With Refugees.
Please join us from 3pm on Saturday the 30th of March at the Trinity Rooms (Field Road, Stroud, GL5 2HZ) to discuss what steps we can take as a community. We will also be sharing updates about the Nazi meetings and the organisers behind it.
We need as many people as possible to make their opposition to these Nazi meetings clear, and to sign up for and contribute to the updates. This is a community matter, and we all need to share ideas and work together to keep Nazi-sympathisers out of Gloucestershire.

This is the nightmare that is in danger of becoming a reality, that the current nuisance hate speech from the likes of Katie Hopkins and sources quoted in the Light paper spreading the tentacles of racism and anti-semitism out into the community, will materialise into violence against groups, like Jewish people and immigrants, selected by these Nazi sympathisers for demonisation. If this is not stopped in it’s tracks now we all know where it can lead. The forced ghettos and the concentration camps really happened and they could happen again if these people are not opposed while there is still time. Once a certain point is reached these poisonous points of view can seem to become increasingly acceptable, and then become a reality. Let’s show that we in Stroud won’t allow this to happen, this is a time when the community has to come together and act before it’s too late.

Utterly devastated by this latest attempt at the destruction of a culture of tolerance and kindness . These people are not really nazis they are worse. They cultivate paranoia and fear in the minds of people today. Distort and seek to confuse with their agendas of hate. No regard for human depth and psychological and spiritual reality. I feel outraged that whoever it is in Stroud wants to give this type of sickness a platform at the convent.

This is a shocking development. After years of drip feeding far-right ideas and content on Stroud high street, actual Nazi sympathisers have decided it’s acceptable to turn up and organise events here.
After James Delingpole, Sandi Adams and Katie Hopkins have already been platformed here, they’ve felt emboldened to head over here too.
